Bapco Energies launches secondment programme

Bapco Energies has launched its first strategic secondment programme in collaboration with TotalEnergies.

A group of Bapco Energies employees will spend 12 months at Total Oil Trading (TOTSA) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The programme is part of a strategic partnership agreement signed in June 2024. It aims to equip participants with advanced skills in petroleum product trading.

Bapco Energies’ group chief executive Mark Thomas highlighted the programme’s role in aligning with Bahrain’s national vision to foster a highly skilled workforce.

The programme is expected to benefit both the participants and Bahrain’s economy. It will foster expertise in global energy trading and position the kingdom as a leader in the energy sector.
