BANK OF IDEAS! Public sector employees urged to create success stories
THE Crown Prince and Prime Minister has called on public sector employees to present their innovative ideas and formulate success stories to achieve the country’s goals.
“Today’s idea is the basis of the country’s future, because we believe that every great achievement begins with an idea,” His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, said in a message sent to all public sector employees via e-mail.
“We have, over the past three years, launched the Government Innovation Competition ‘Fikra’ with the aim of providing an opportunity for you to participate with innovative ideas and adopt them as creative initiatives to develop government work for the sake of the present and future of Bahrain and its citizens,” he said.
He called for more creative and distinguished participation in the competition to develop government services and improve performance.
HRH Prince Salman invited public sector employees, “armed with a strong team spirit, love of challenge and passion for achievement, to identify areas of development to build on what has been accomplished and present their ideas and formulate success stories we are proud of in each sector”.
He expressed hope for more participation this year, characterised by creativity and distinction, as usual, guided by His Majesty King Hamad’s approach, with Bahrain always on their minds.
The coronavirus pandemic challenge was an opportunity to confirm that investment in national cadres and adopting creative ideas is the best investment for the nation, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister pointed out.
“Thanks to challenges and efforts of loyal citizens, Bahrain has been able to create success stories as well as future projects and initiatives that serve our dear kingdom,” he said.
He renewed thanks and appreciation to public sector employees as active members of Team Bahrain.
“Every success achieved in confronting the pandemic was based on collective determination of all team members which helped the state press ahead with its programmes to achieve economic recovery,” he added.
