Bahrain’s Covid fight success praised

Bahrain’s landmark ratings which acknowledge its success in combating the coronavirus pandemic have been praised.

Parliament Speaker Fouzia Zainal particularly stressed Bahrain’s success in reducing active cases, stepping up vaccinations and ensuring commitment to mandatory precautionary measures.

Bahrain has been ranked first globally in the Nikkei Covid-19 Recovery Index for November, following a drop in active cases, an increase in vaccination rollout, and continued adherence to precautionary measures aimed at mitigating the pandemic.

Ms Zainal commended national efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and and Prime Minister, which have contributed to Bahrain’s outstanding global rankings. She wished the kingdom further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad.
