Bahrainouna hails private sector partners’ role

Manama, Sept. 20 (BNA): Bahrainouna's Executive Office Director Hala Sulaiman, asserted the importance of the private sector organizations in implementing "Bahrainouna" the national plan's initiatives. 

 

The success of the national plan is based on a collective partnership with all organisations; governmental, private sector and the NGOs, to reinforce national initiatives and achieve the targeted goals, she noted.

 

Hala Sulaiman pointed out that as part of the directives of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the National Plan led by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the National plan works to promote community partnership with various civic and private organisations, resulting in the backing of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba).

 

She commended Alba’s role in supporting the community and national initiatives in line with its responsibility to the nation and society. 

 

Hala Sulaiman said that the national plan aims to preserve Bahrain’s genuine traditional values that represent a spirit of brotherhood and reflect solidarity between citizens of one nation.

 

She said the plan reinforces a dedication to work within a national spirit in promoting Bahrain’s security and stability by reinforcing national belonging and inculcating positive and responsible approach towards cohesion between all segments in society. 

“It also promotes values of loyalty, belonging, tolerance, moderation and commitment to national unity.” 

 

Alba’s CEO Ali Al Baqali, emphasized on the company’s continuous drive to contribute to the growth and stability of Bahrain’s society, and Alba’s keen interest in supporting programs and plans that aim at reinforcing national cohesion, and preservation of national values among society members.

 

“Alba has dedicated its efforts over the years to back community-related initiatives and activities such as sports programmes, health and safety awareness, and environmental initiatives as well as many events that promotes the Kingdom at the international level,” he said.

 

Bahrainouna includes 105 initiatives that are being executed with the collaboration of 25 ministries and organisations. 81 percent of these are being implemented as part of the five main pillars - belonging programmes, public relations and media campaigns, curricula and legislative programmes.
