Bahraini-French health cooperation discussed

Manama, June 20 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari, today received a delegation from the French Embassy in Bahrain, led by Emmanuel Mayer, the First Counsellor of the Embassy, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Bahrain's government hospitals and the health sector in France.
 
Dr. Al-Ansari affirmed the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-French relations.
 
The two sides discussed a number of health cooperation projects between the two countries, particularly the medical training programme.
 
The Government Hospitals' CEO stressed the importance of strengthening fruitful cooperation between the two countries, especially regarding medical training, field visits, high-level training of Bahraini doctors in France and exchange of medical expertise.
 
Emmanuel Mayer affirmed the depth of bilateral relations, stressing the need to bolster joint cooperation.
 
He underlined his country's readiness to contribute to improving the level of healthcare services delivered in Bahrain in order to strengthen friendship relations between the two countries.
