Bahrain women's crucial role in confronting COVID-19 hailed

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): Bahraini women have been playing a crucial role in confronting the coronavirus pandemic through their commitment and endeavors alongside men, Supreme Council for Women Secretary-General Hala Al Ansari has said.


Such dedication and commitment by Bahraini women are well recognized and they reflect strong keenness on contributing to the progress of Bahrain in all areas, Al Ansari said as he she took the COVID-19 vaccine.


Bahrain is relying on the prominent role that Bahraini women play in spreading awareness mainly within their families, workplaces and communities of the importance of taking the vaccine and contributing to Bahrain's success story in confronting the virus and returning to normal life.


Bahrain is among the first countries across the globe to provide vaccination for all citizens and residents.


Al Ansari praised the ease of the measures taken by the competent authorities to provide the vaccine free of charge to all citizens and residents under royal directives to protect the health and safety of Bahraini society.


Bahrain has never hesitated to provide the necessary vaccinations to everyone who lives in the Kingdom, she added as she commended Bahrainis and residents for joining the campaign and contributing to the plans for a return to normal life.
