Bahrain-UAE ‘strategic partners’

UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan expressed pride in the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UAE and both countries’ commitment to supporting the values of brotherhood, co-operation and joint action in all fields.

This came during a speech delivered by the minister as he yesterday patronised the “Expo 2020 Dubai”, marking the inauguration ceremony of the book The Bahraini-Emirati Strategic Partnership: Legacy of the Past.. Challenges of the Present.. Future Prospects.

It was issued by the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies, Derasat, in co-operation with Watani Al Emarat Foundation in the presence of officials, experts, media professionals and stakeholders.

He pointed out the two countries’ keenness to develop the elements of strength in their relationship within a framework that preserves the two countries’ immortal heritage, profound achievements and human values and principles, which achieve unity and cohesion.

“We are one people united by a long history, common goals, determination and ability to deal with the challenges of the present and the developments of the future, with efficiency, confidence and success,” he said.

Derasat board of trustees chairman Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the strong relations binding Bahrain and the UAE will remain a role model.
