Bahrain top GCC country to employ citizens in local market
Bahrain has been ranked first among GCC countries in employing its citizens in the local market, according to a report by the GCC Statistical Centre.
It said the kingdom hired 208,000 Bahraini workers in the public and private sectors, making up 47.8 per cent of the total recruitments.
The UAE has been ranked second, employing 47.5pc of its citizens in its market.
