Bahrain to host Procurement Middle East 2021

The fifth edition of the  Procurement Middle East  Conference will open in Bahrain on September 8 under the patronage of Tender President Shaikh Nayef bin Khalid Al-Khalifa.

 

The two-day Procurement Middle East  2021  which concludes on September 9, will be held under the theme (From Tactics to Strategy: Building Resilient, Efficient and Sustainable Procurement 4.0).

 

The hybrid event will also featured the 3rd edition of the Procurement Middle East Awards. More than 500 participants representing 20 countries will take part, along with over 70 keynote speakers and consultants.

 

The event will provide a platform for global and regional experts involved in the procurement sector to exchange knowledge and review new technologies and innovative ways to develop this sector.

 

 It also provides the participants with the opportunity to discuss and learn about the latest developments and see visions and ideas in the procurement sector. The conference will also include the Middle East Procurement Awards ceremony in 12 categories.

 

“The Middle East Procurement Conference is a unique interactive platform that highlights the positive impact digital transformation in the field of procurement and supply management, which allows more transparency and helps expedite response time, which in turn contributes to enabling companies to assess risks in an informed and more accurate way, and stimulate business to be a tributary to the economy in all its sectors”, said Shaikh Nayef.

 

He stressed the importance of partnerships, stimulating change and digital capabilities, as well as offering innovative solutions aimed to achieve technical progress in this vital field.
