Bahrain stepping up Covid-19 fight

Bahrain continues to intensify all efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus, assistant under-secretary for public health at the Health Ministry Dr Mariam Al Hajri said.

She called on everyone to abide by instructions issued by the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus, and cautioned against large family gatherings during Eid Al Adha.

She highlighted the most important instructions that must be followed to prevent the spread of the virus, including avoiding gatherings and physical contact, and called for regular surface sterilisation, washing hands with soap and water and using hand sanitisers regularly.

Dr Al Hajri emphasised the importance of covering the mouth while coughing or sneezing, avoiding direct contact with anyone bearing any symptoms of the virus, wearing face masks when in public and calling

444 in case of any symptoms of the virus.
