Bahrain records highest number of Covid-19 cases

Bahrain yesterday registered 1,027 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 643 recoveries.

This was the highest number of Covid-19 cases ever recorded in a day in the country.

Of the new cases, 309 were expat workers, 702 contacts of active cases and 16 travel-related.

An additional 643 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 133,098.

Of the 8,234 active cases, 134 are receiving treatment and 58 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 141,845 cases.The kingdom has also conducted 3,531,022 tests.
