Autumn Fair opens on December 13

THE 32nd edition of Bahrain’s largest retail fair will open its doors on December 13 and run until December 21.

The nine-day Autumn Fair will take place at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sanabis.

Held across 16,600sqm, it will feature more than 600 stalls from 18 countries and is being held under the patronage of the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry.

The event organisers said that there is a 20 per cent growth in the number of retailers taking part in the fair this year compared to last year.

The Autumn Fair will include an outdoor area for food trucks, a live show area with a DJ and a farmers’ market selling locally grown produce in collaboration with the Bahrain Agricultural Co-operative Society.

Additionally, traditional live music and entertainment will commemorate National Day on December 16 and 17.

Children can play virtual reality and arcade games in the game zone, and can take photos with the fair’s mascot ‘Dabdoub the bear.’

Autumn Fair 2021 shoppers are required to register online in compliance with Covid-19 guidelines and will receive a digital badge, which is valid throughout the event. Entry is free.
