Aramex, Export Bahrain announce LTL services to support business exports

Aramex and Export Bahrain will provide Bahrain-based less than truckload businesses (LTL) services to support the exports of made in Bahrain products to Saudi Arabia.

The service intends to boost the support to local businesses in their export journey and ease their operational procedures while lowering the overall costs bared by the exporter.

Companies will receive below-market rates based on the city destination which applies to both B2B and B2C export deals.
Exporters are expected to benefit from this service as there will be regular shipments for all general cargo which will give exporters a new entry option to the Saudi market, adding to the current full truckload (FTL) option and providing businesses with more variety and exporting options to better cater to their specific requirements and needs.

“The LTL services will provide businesses in Bahrain the opportunity and option of utilizing land transportation to Saudi Arabia at a lower rate while considering actual truck space needed for the products of each business and we look forward to supporting the exports of products made in Bahrain with this service and to ease the operational procedures of businesses in partnership with Export Bahrain,” Aramex Bahrain Freight Products Manager Ahmad Omran said.

“We at Export Bahrain proactively search for innovative solutions to enhance and support to exporters, and with this LTL service provided in partnership with Aramex, Bahrain-based businesses have more variety and options as part of Export Bahrain’s Shipping & Logistics solution,” Export Bahrain’s Planning & Market Intelligence department member Rabab Khalaf.
