'All necessary measures taken to activate the national vaccination plan'
National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) member and Salmaniya Medical Complex infectious and internal diseases consultant Dr Jameela Al Salman said, “After a long journey in the battle of confronting the virus, it renews our determination to continue the efforts stage by stage until victory.
“We had all proactive preventive plans as announced earlier in place at the beginning of the emergence of the virus, and at every stage of dealing with the virus we saw the effectiveness and feasibility of these plans which led to the achievements of Bahrain.
“We affirm that all necessary measures have been taken and preparations have been made to activate the national vaccination plan.
“The vaccine is safe and effective and has been approved by the NHRA after extensive studies, reviews and sequential procedures in accordance with international best practices.”
Dr Al Salman was speaking at a Press conference of the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19), at the BDF Hospital today.
