Alba’s role in Bahrain’s economic growth praised
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the importance of adopting strategies that attract further investments to enhance Bahrain’s industrial sector and the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he received yesterday at Riffa Palace the chairman of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, and members of its board of directors.
HRH Prince Salman commended Alba’s prominent role in supporting the national economy, and creating quality opportunities for Bahrainis, noting that Alba’s achievements have enhanced the kingdom’s global competitiveness in the aluminium and manufacturing industries.
He noted that manufacturing is central to attracting investors and effectively contributes to economic growth and the realisation of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
HRH Prince Salman also highlighted the importance of advancing the industrial sector by adopting innovative initiatives for sustainable development.
Shaikh Daij thanked HRH Prince Salman for supporting the development of Bahrain’s industrial sector, which contributes to achieving further progress and prosperity for the kingdom.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
