Air France repatriates 240,000 French citizens, European nationals

Air France, in cooperation with the French Ministry of Transport and Foreign Affairs, has announced it established a repatriation crisis centre to repatriate 240,000 French citizens and European nationals, the company said.

Air France and Transavia have repatriated close to 240,000 people including 125,000 French nationals on their scheduled flights in addition to some 200 flights to 82 countries dedicated to these repatriation operations.

Air France has decided to introduce special, capped fares for travelers on repatriation flights. These special fares are available on fights operated by Air France aircraft, on routes to France. Tickets cost in the region of EUR 300 for medium-haul flights and EUR 600 for long-haul flights in Economy, approximately EUR 1,000 in Premium Economy and EUR 1,500 in Business.
