Additional accommodation for 8000 labourers

Additional accommodation was provided for more than 8,000 labourers as part of efforts to reduce congestion at labour camps and limit the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), it has been revealed. 

The initiative was carried out by the Labour and Social Development Ministry to provide accommodation for a total of 8,011 labourers while 1,055 work sites were disinfected regularly.

Efforts were also intensified to ensure awareness levels among the expatriate workers increased through the distribution of hundreds of thousands of flyers in multiple languages.
