Abu Dhabi's non-oil trade at $4.85bln in February 2020

UAE –  Abu Dhabi's non-oil foreign trade increased by 7.2% year-on-year (YoY) to around AED 17.79 billion in February 2020 from AED nearly AED 16.59 billion in the same month of 2019.

The non-oil exports reached AED 4.52 billion in February, up by 2.4% from AED 4.41 billion in the year-ago period, according to the latest data by the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

Abu Dhabi witnessed an 11.2% drop in re-exports to AED 4.01 billion in February 2020 from AED 4.52 billion in the same month of 2019.

On a monthly basis, the non-oil trade in Abu Dhabi declined by 7.7% or AED 1.5 billion to nearly AED 17.79 billion in February from AED 19.29 billion in January.

During the first two months of 2020, the non-oil trade grew by 3.6 % to AED 37.07 billion, compared to AED 35.79 billion in the corresponding period of 2019.
