Kingdom adds four countries to the red list

Bahrain has added Malawi, Mozambique, Angola and Zambia to the travel red list.

The Civil Aviation Affairs updated the list last night based on recommendations made by the National Taskforce for Combating Covid-19.

Passengers from the red list countries, including those who have transited through those countries, are prohibited from entry, except for citizens or residents of Bahrain.

All other travel procedures for arrivals eligible for entry to the kingdom from non-red list countries and red list countries remain in place.

Entry procedures can be viewed on the Health Ministry’s website, healthalert.gov.bh.

The red list is regularly reviewed and updated based on the task force’s assessment of international developments.
