Hope Fund is turning point in youth empowerment, leadership

Manama, Oct. 12 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, has praised the address of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the opening of the bicameral parliament sessions on Sunday.


HH Shaikh Faisal said the royal address was a roadmap for a new phase of production and work that inspires people's determination to face challenges of various forms and guidance towards greater ambitions and a source for the high esteem and the insightful vision that befit Bahrain and its people, he said.


HH Shaikh Faisal praised the royal decree establishing the Hope Fund to support youth projects and initiatives, noting that it reflects HM the King's great interest in the Bahraini youth.


The Fund is an outlet for the youth's creative potential and a major investment in Bahraini mindsets and young entrepreneurs who deserve further support and care, he added.


HH Shaikh Faisal added that the Royal Decree to assign His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to follow up the establishment of the fund and to supervise it confirms the royal trust in the capabilities of the ambitious Bahraini youth.


The youth is led by HH Shaikh Nasser towards the summits in various youth areas, he said.


The establishment of the the Hope Fund is a turning point in the progress in Bahrain towards youth empowerment and leadership, and it will have a great impact on cultivating talents, supporting and motivating creative people and guiding them towards production. This will provide more opportunities for the youth of Bahrain who deserve to have an active role in the process of nation building and development, HH Shaikh Faisal added.
