Forum spotlight on young professionals
Manama: FinMark Communications, in co-operation with Tamkeen, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) and Zain Bahrain, is gearing up to hold the next forum of Women’s Professional Leadership Initiative “Activate Your Potential” tomorrow at the Zain Bahrain headquarters in Seef.
The evening’s programme will focus on highlighting the tools and resources young professionals need and can leverage to further progress towards career success and growth.
Farah Fostouk, managing director and chief executive of Lazard Gulf, and founder of Reach, the first non-profit organisation dedicated to the mentorship of women professionals in the Middle East, will share her experience on the importance of mentorship.
Her speech will be followed by an interactive panel discussion with participation from senior business leaders, who will give aspiring young professional leaders an insight into professional growth.
The panel will comprise Zain Bahrain human resources director Dana Bukhammas, AM Power senior consultant Joe Abourous, NBB chief human resources officer Dana Buhiji, and Tamkeen community engagement manager Ahmed Janahi.
The discussion will be moderated by BisB human resources and general services assistant general manager Dawood Al Ashhab.
