FCCIB took part in the GCC-France Business Forum held in Dubai on 23 October 2025

FCCIB was proud to take part in the GCC-France Business Forum, held in Dubai on 23 October 2025 and organised by CCI France International, in partnership with FCCIB, CCI France UAE, CCI France Qatar, CAFS (Saudi-French Business Council), Omani French Friendship Association (OFA), Oman France Joint Business Council, Pakistan France Business Alliance (PFBA), and Business France.

The event gathered over 270 participants, 60+ speakers, 11 panels, and 8 partners from across the region, all united around one purpose: building bridges and sharing expertise between France and the Gulf.

We would like to extend our special thanks to our two panelists from Bahrain who took part in this Forum: Mr. Yaser Al Sharifi, CEO of BBK Group, who delivered a remarkable speech during the VIP panel alongside representatives of leading regional groups, and Mrs. Noora Jamsheer, CEO of Danat, who spoke in the Luxury Panel, highlighting the key role of this unique institution in the region and recalling Bahrain’s historic position in the pearl industry.

A big thank you as well to Mr. Kamel Benloukil, Director of EDB France, who presented the Bahraini market, its opportunities, priority sectors, attractiveness to investors and especially French companies, as well as future opportunities and projects, during a conference on the Kingdom of Bahrain moderated by Mrs. Rim Jalali, Managing Director of FCCIB.

Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, and Mr. Jacques Michel, President of the CCEF Committee in Bahrain, were part of the delegation representing Bahrain at this first edition. Alongside FCCIB members and partners, they actively contributed to the discussions exploring strategic opportunities across the Gulf in key sectors such as energy, retail, construction, healthcare, and transport.
