FCCIB organized a Conference & Networking Luncheon on VAT at Crowne Plaza Hotel

The event took place on Tuesday 24th April to discuss the future introduction of VAT to Bahrain. Entitled ‘How to be ready for the VAT Introduction in Bahrain?’ the gathering took place at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Manama and was sponsored by Mazars Chatered Accountants and BMMI Shops.

The Guest Speaker for this conference and networking dinner was Mazars Group Partner Adel Mohsen Chabaane.  Co-founder of Mazars Tunisia and partner in the international Mazars Group organization, Adel Mohsen Chaabane has a professional experience of more than 30 years and has a great knowledge in tax advisory and coaching foreign investors.

Mr. Chabaane, introduced by Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, made an insightful presentation highlighting the ways in which the companies, individuals, customers and government could be ready to the introduction of VAT in Bahrain, planned for early 2019. He gave concrete examples about the Introduction of VAT in Tunisia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, mentioning in what sense Bahrain can follow their example and learn from their experiences. He finished by highlighting how Mazars Group can help companies and government of Bahrain in that matter.

The event was attended by more than 30 VIPS, members and guests.
