Bahraini IT managers honoured

A number of Bahraini IT managers have been honoured at the World CIO 200 Grand Finale.

Several countries and organisations attended the event to honour innovators and pioneers in the field of information technology.

The Organising Committee of the Khalid bin Hamad Innovation, Artificial Intelligence Competition announced the grand finale event, following the success of the second Bahrain Awards Ceremony for CEOs held last month under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Five Bahraini managers – Anas Kamaluddin, head of Information Technology at Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group; Tariq Al Mijhif, CEO at the Interior Ministry; Ali Al Aradi, CEO at the Foreign Ministry; Hassan Abdulaziz Murad, Information Technology Department director at the Royal Business Corporation for Human Rights; and Dr Jassim Haji, International Group for Artificial Intelligence president – were honoured for their contributions to Bahrain’s IT sector and their leadership role in digital transformation projects.
