BACA President receives French Ambassador

President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, with whom she discussed ways to enhance cultural cooperation between the two countries.

 

Shaikha Mai affirmed the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-French relations, 

 

She also highlighted the main upcoming 2022 events, most notably the Bahrain National Museum's hosting of the "Divas" exhibition, coming from the Arab World Institute, in addition to holding a public expo at the French Louvre Museum, which will last for years, and reflect the richness of the Kingdom’s history and the successive civilisations on its land.

 

The envoy handed over BACA President an invitation from ALIPH Foundation to attend its General Conference at the end of January, 2022, at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

 

He commended the efforts exerted by BACA to strengthen the Bahraini-French cultural relations, affirming his country’s vision on developing cultural action between the two countries.
