Manama: Bahrain is dynamically tailoring its economy and development to attract major investment, said the Premier yesterday.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa asserted that the government has coupled investment and economic co-operation, regionally and internationally, with effective policies to adapt it to the requirements of investors.
“The economy is the mainstay of development and its main artery and this is why the government’s strategy and economic plans are more dynamic. It will ensure development moves towards wider horizons,” he said.
The Prime Minister was speaking as he received a number of state officials, as well as economic, intellectual and media personalities, at Gudaibiya Palace.
He highlighted Bahrainis’ innumerable success stories in trade and business sectors, affirming that their distinguished qualities, including co-existence, kindness and enlightened thoughts, are investment-stimulating elements.
The Prime Minister praised the major role played by pioneering businessmen who, he said, had set an example in building the nation’s progress.
He stressed the need to document the efforts and contributions of citizens so that they remain beacons for coming generations to build their future.
